Itinerary

DAY 01 : ARRIVE AT CHENNAI AIRPORT - MAHABALIPURAM – 53 KMS

Warm welcome by the representative of INDIA-BIKE-TOURS at Chennai Airport. shuttle bus will pick you up and drop at Hotel in Mahabalipuram. An introduction with the INDIA-BIKE-TOURS team at the Hotel. Evening wander, discover the local market and beach. Enjoy Mahabalipuram, known for its beauty, stone work, and temples. overnight stay at hotel.

DAY 02 : MAHABALIPURAM

Until we having breakfast, The Bikes will have been ready to get acquainted with them, a ride through small villages around 60 Kms, to get the Enfields Friendly. In afternoon we explore the  city famous for its rocks and architectural works. Evening Meals at Fantastic restaurant and Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 03 : MAHABALIPURAM – PUDUCHERRY – CUDDALORE 118 KMS

After breakfast ,Ride to Puducherry, is also known as Pondicherry ,until 1954 ,Poducherry was a French settlement , on the way we visit Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Basilica of Sacred heart of Jesus and French quarters, After explore entire Puducherry we continue ride to Cuddalore, evening wander around the city and obviously colourful market. Overnight at Hotel Cuddalore.

DAY 04 : CUDDALORE - TANJORE - 200 KMS

After breakfast , Ride to Tanjore, is also known as Thanjavur.It is an important regional culture, art and heritage  centre in South India which has most of the Great living Chola temple. upon arrival visit Brihadeeswara temple the biggest temple in Tanjor. Overnight at Hotel  Tanjore.

DAY 05 : TANJORE - RAMESHWARAM - 240 KMS

After breakfast , Ride to Rameshwaram, is on Pamban Island separated from mainland India by the Pamban Channel. it is considered to be one of the holiest places for Hindus ; upon arrival we visit Arulmigu Ramanathaswamy temple and Rama Teertham, overnight at Hotel Rameshwaram.

DAY 06 : RAMESHWARAM – THOOTHUKUDI  200 KMS

After breakfast, Ride to Thoothukudi ,The city is famous for it’s pearl fishing and shipping activities, production of salt and other related business. upon arrival relax at hotel and walk around the beach, exploring the salt flats and enjoy the sunset. Overnight at Hotel thoothukudi.

DAY 07 : THOOTHUNDI – KANYAKUMARI – 140 KMS

After breakfast , Ride to Kanyakumari, is the Southernmost town in mainland India ,it is bordered on three sides by the Laccadive Sea.it is located at the confluence of Western Coastal Plains and Eastern Coastal Plains, upon arrival we visit Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Thiruvalluvar temple and Kanyakumari beach, Overnight at Hotel  Kanyakumari.

DAY 08 : KANYAKUMARI - MADURAI - 260 KMS

Route “ Through the Greenery “ starts from here, after breakfast, ride to Madurai, one of the oldest living city in the state of Tamil Nadu, south India. You will enjoy riding through small villages , cities hustle-bustle, crazy south India traffic and reach Madurai, evening we visit in the local market and finding a good place for dinner. Overnight stay at Hotel Madurai.

DAY 09 : MADURAI CITY TOUR

Right after breakfast, Today We spend our whole day in this colorful city, we stars from “Samanar Hills” climbing hundreds steps to go-up on the mountain to have an entire city view, later visit renowned “Sri Meenakshi – Sundareswarar Temple“   which the city famous for. Having local famous foods and trying to meet locals. Overnight at Hotel in Madurai.

DAY 10 : MADURAI – KODAIKANAL 125 KMS

After breakfast, Ride to Kodaikanal, is An English hill town, popular for its large cedar and eucalyptus forests. It’s set in an area of granite cliffs, forested valleys, lakes, waterfalls and grassy hills. At 2,000 meters above sea level , offering wonderful views, but before that, we treat ourselves with a last puff of these forests, where grow coffee, pepper and cardamom. We cruise through coconut groves and wheat fields. Overnight at hotel Kodaikanal.

DAY 11 :  KODAIKANAL – MUNNAR 175 KMS

Ride from Tamil Nadu to Kerala, on the western side of the eastern Ghats. The beautiful mountain roads through verdant tea plantations. We find ourselves on the highest mountain in South India, which stands at an impressive 2,700 m altitude. Munnar is a commercial center in the heart of some of the highest tea plantations in the world.

DAY 12 :  MUNNAR THE TEA PLANTATIONS

Right after breakfast, we visit  tea factory, the tea museum, its also worth to have a small one. we will enjoy this day around tea plantations in Munnar, in the midst of its abundant tea plantations and generous nature. Overnight at Hotel in Munnar.

DAY 13 : MUNNAR - THECKDDY - 100 KMS

DAY 14 : THECKDDY - ALLEPPEY - 155 KMS 

After breakfast Ride to Alleppey, also known as Alappuzha. famous for its Backwater Paddy Cultivation and it is well known for its houseboats. Alleppey is inlaid with channels that support its thriving backwater tourism, upon arrival check into the Hotel. Early morning houseboat trip in Alleppey backwaters.

DAY 15 : ALLEPPEY –  FORT KOCHI  55 KMS

Ride to fort Kochi  through our “costal route” again! This is our last day of our “costal ride through the Greenery/ South India Tour ” Reach early and explore the charming old town, historic Fort Kochi (where we’ll stay) and discover its beautiful colonial past with an eclectic mix of Dutch and Portuguese architecture, centuries-old churches and a vibrant, appealing way of life. Far from being a boring walk through history, Fort Kochi is one of the most pleasant neighbourhoods to live in. In the  Evening last Dinner with chaps and night!!

DAY 16: KOCHI TO HOME

Breakfast if possible and Taxi to the Kochi international airport according to your  flight back  home with beautiful memories of our south India tour.......................!!
