The hilly region, which includes cities like Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Bandipur, has a temperate climate. Summers are warm but not extreme, and winters can be cold, especially in the mornings and evenings. Monsoon rains arrive between June and September, making the region lush and green.

TERAI REGION (SOUTHERN NEPAL):
